Carly Rae Jepsen has announced the release date for her highly anticipated album, “The Loveliest Time,” which is set to arrive on July 28. The album serves as a companion to her previous release, “The Loneliest Time,” which came out in 2022. Jepsen took to social media to tease the new project, expressing her exploration of loneliness and the growth that stems from it.
In her online post, Jepsen shared her realization that being in the loneliest times allowed her to find beauty and experience personal development. As the world begins to reopen, she sees it as a time for celebration and embracing the lessons learned during the dark moments.

According to a press release, “The Loveliest Time” will comprise 12 songs, including the recently released single, “Shy Boy.” Jepsen collaborated with a talented group of musicians and producers on the album, including James Ford, John Hill, Patrik Berger, Rostam Batmanglij, and Kyle Shearer, among others.
This marks the third consecutive album from Carly Rae Jepsen to receive the companion treatment. The trend began with the release of “E•mo•tion: Side B” following her acclaimed 2015 album, “E•mo•tion.” Later, Jepsen continued the tradition by unveiling “Dedicated” and “Dedicated Side B” a few years later.
Fans eagerly anticipate the arrival of “The Loveliest Time,” as Jepsen’s distinct pop sound and introspective lyrics have garnered widespread acclaim throughout her career.
