
On July 13, BTS revealed that they haven’t met the British singer Ed Sheeran although the band has collaborated with him for two projects now. Permission To Dance is BTS’ latest track which has been co-written by Ed Sheeran, it was also performed by the band as they appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on July 13.
Jimmy Fallon his show asked BTS about meeting Ed Sheeran to which RM replied, “PTD is a song that will get everybody’s heart pumping and dance again. This is actually a gift of Ed Sheeran of course one of our friends… Respect, big love to Ed. We also prepared something called ‘Permission to Dance’ challenge with YouTube shorts so please stay tuned for more. PTD let’s go… We can’t believe that we haven’t met him yet. This is the second project with him but we never met him yet.”
Jimmy Fallon then add that he knows BTS better than Ed. He further even joked about collaboration and said, “If you want to work in the Butter category I can go all through the dairy aisle,” and asked them to let him know. RM carrying on the joke said, “Maybe cheesecake or cereal…let’s go”.
Then Jimmy asked them about the much-awaited question which was about their tour and that made the ARMYs in the audience cheer and RM said, “This is what we want and this is what we will feel when we back on tours. We want to do ‘make some noise’ thing again.”
While the boy band has already performed ‘Permission To Dance’, it’s all set to perform ‘Butter’ on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on July 14.
