The initiative aims to ensure smooth and eco-friendly travel for concert-goers, easing Mumbai’s infamous traffic challenges.
Train Details:
- Route: Operates between Goregaon and Nerul, covering key stops at Andheri, Bandra, Chembur, and Juinagar.
- Outbound Journey: Departs from Goregaon at 2:00 PM, reaching Nerul for concert attendees.
- Return Journey: Departs from Nerul at 11:00 PM, heading back to Goregaon.
- Ticket Pricing: Round-trip tickets are priced at ₹500 and are available exclusively on the BookMyShow platform.
Supplementary Bus Services:
To complement the train service, additional transportation arrangements have been made:
- NMMT Buses: Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport will run 10 extra buses from Nerul and Juinagar railway stations to the concert venue on all three days.
- CityFlo Buses: Private bus services will operate from Goregaon, South Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Thane to DY Patil Stadium. Bookings can be made via the CityFlo app.
Traffic Regulations:
Navi Mumbai authorities have imposed strict traffic regulations to ensure hassle-free movement during the event:
- Heavy Vehicle Restrictions: Entry and movement of heavy vehicles, including trucks and goods carriers, are prohibited between 2:00 PM and 12:00 AM on concert days.
- Exemptions: Vehicles carrying essential goods, emergency services, and government vehicles are exempt.
