The famous children’s song “Baby Shark” has achieved a new record. With more than seven billion views, it has become the most-watched video on YouTube. The song was created by a South Korean children’s educational company called Pinkfong and it was released on 17th June 2016.
Within four years of its creation, the song has defeated the 2017 song “Despacito” which previously was the most-viewed video on YouTube.
The catchy tune of the song and its enthusiastic visuals have made it popular among kids and parents. In January 2019, the song had acquired the 32nd spot on the Billboard Hot 100. It also made it to the UK Top 40 list.
Currently, the top five videos on YouTube are: “Baby Shark”, “Despacito”, “Shape of You,” Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again,” and “Masha and the Bear – Recipe for Disaster.”
