A Travis Scott fan sold their home to attend the concert in Egypt.Wednesday brought news of the formal cancellation of Travis Scott’s forthcoming “Utopia” concert in Cairo, Egypt. This was originally planned to happen at the Giza Pyramids. Production problems were therefore given as the reason for the cancellation.

Additionally, there had been earlier rumours that the event would be postponed because the nation disapproved of the “rituals” of Travis’ concerts.

While refunds are being processed, many Travis fans are extremely unhappy by the news. To pay for the travel to Egypt to watch Travis perform, one fan even claimed on TikTok that he sold his house. If this is factual or if it was merely uploaded online for effect, it is still uncertain. If such were the case, the fan would undoubtedly be in a very terrible living condition as a result of his poor choice.

The Utopia album by Travis is slated to be released on Friday. Along with the record, his “Circus Maximus” movie will debut in a few AMC theatres.
