
The Chicago South Asian Film Festival is the biggest annual South Asian event that recognizes outstanding storytelling. The movie “Lost” is an intense social thriller that symbolises a greater quest, a look for qualities like empathy and honesty that have been lost. Based on real-world occurrences, `Lost` is the narrative of a talented young lady who works as a crime reporter as she pursues the truth about the mysterious disappearance of a theatrical activist.
The performers expressed their joy and excitement for the movie’s release when questioned about its selection as the opening night premiere feature. Actress Yami Gautam Dhar portrays a determined crime reporter. When questioned about her anticipation for the movie’s festival debut and anticipated release, Yami acknowledged her delight, saying “I can`t be happier and more proud of the film`s selection for the opening night at CSAFF. I feel like it`s one that the people will connect to and will be the one that you cannot miss, especially in the current age and time.”
She adds, “I loved playing this role because it was such a special experience, it allowed me to explore so many layers of emotions as an actor and the entire team worked really hard on it. I genuinely cannot wait for the film`s release, especially to see the reactions of the audience to it.”
The cast of this interesting story is outstanding. Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, and a group of young actors, including Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpiee, and Tushar Pandey, will all play significant parts with Yami in the movie.
