Vikrant Rona hits massive success in theatres; Makes a gross of 115 Crore worldwide

Fans in India and other countries absolutely love Kiccha Sudeep’s action adventure.

Another 29 crores have been added to Kiccha Sudeep’s Vikrant Rona’s already enormous earnings. The movie’s expected first weekend worldwide gross was between 115 and 120 crores. This represents the ongoing affection that viewers around the nation and the world have shown for recent Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu films.

According to industry reports, Vikrant Rona grossed a whopping 29 crore on Sunday, its fourth release day, extending the film’s weekend. This brings the film’s total to more than 110 crores. It’s significantly more than Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera could muster in its first week: ₹40 crores. Vikrant Rona, directed by Anup Bhandari and starring Sudeep, Nirup Bhandari, and Neetha Ashok, is produced by Jack Manjunath under his company Shalini Artss, co-produced by Alankar Pandian of Invenio Origins, and presented by Zee Studios. It was released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. On July 28, it will be released in theatres. It’s one of the most costly Kannada films ever filmed, with a budget of 95 crores.

During the Hindi trailer launch, Sudeep stated that he does not want to “generalise” the success of south films since he feels that Bollywood would not have survived this long if it did not have decent stuff to give. A lot of movies are created each year, but not all of them are successful. Some movies do it, while others don’t. This does not imply that we can generalise about the industry as being dominant. For everything, there are favourable periods. How could the Hindi film business have endured for so long without producing excellent films and employing excellent talent?” he said.
