Vikram Ravichandran has announced his next film Mudhol, through a motion poster. The film is directed by Karthik Rajan. The actor has already completed 30 days of shooting for the film and made a statement regarding his latest film on Thursday through an Instagram post. He wrote, “Are you ready for the hunt #mudhol teaser trending #1 on youtube.” The movie’s teaser was released on the 26th of April.

The director, Karthik will be making his debut through this film. In a recent interview he had given some insights about the film, Rajan said, “There is a location in Karnataka called Mudhol and a canine breed there known as the Mudhol Hound. In our movie, the dog has a significant part to perform. When Vikram told his father, Ravichandran, about this incident, he thought the term Mudhol would be appropriate for the movie and the narrative.”

In the teaser, Vikram is depicted as a prisoner and is hooked to a chain simultaneously preparing food for the other criminals. But further, it seems like they have come to kill him and a dog comes to rescue him from the fight holding a knife in his mouth.

Vikram has shared that he will always be a student of cinema and a learner. This movie will embark as the second film of his career. The actor said, “He heard just a one-line story, and was happy. He has taught me to give everything to a film, and I will follow that. While this is just my second film, I will forever be a student of cinema and a learner. My motto is to bring more audiences to theatres. I don’t want them to think about watching a film on OTT, at least not for the first 45 days after my film releases.”

Ravichandran debuted with the film Trivikrama which was released in theatres on the 24th of June 2022.
