The first look at the John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh starrer is out, and both actors are vicious and eager to show the public what a true action drama picture looks like. The film, directed by Nikkhil Advani, is reported to be based on actual occurrences. Along with the first look at Vedaa, the makers have announced the release date.
Actors John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh used their individual social media accounts to announce the release date and provide the first look at the flick. The film is slated to be released on July 12, 2024. Judging by the first glimpse, both John and Sharvari are fully ready for revenge and to teach someone an important lesson.
Director Nikkhil Advani expressed his delight, saying, “Vedaa is not just a film. It’s inspired from real events and is a reflection of our society and pushes the boundaries of reality. Working with John, Sharvari and Abhishek Banerjee has been an incredible experience and I’m glad to finally announce the release date and fingers crossed the audiences gets moved the way we all did when we first heard the story of Vedaa.”
Prior to Vedaa, John Abraham and Nikkhil Advani worked together on the 2019 film Batla House, which was inspired by the true story of the Batla House encounter case.
Apart from Vedaa, John Abraham will appear in films such as The Diplomat, Tariq, and Tehran. In 2023, the actor had a successful professional run in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
John received significant praise for his depiction of antagonist Jim. Apart from Vedaa, Sharvari Wagh’s next film appearance will be in Maharaja.
Vedaa is all set to release on silver screens on July 12, 2024.
