Varun Dhawan has always addressed his love of action movies and how he would most likely want to witness himself in a film based on it.
During pandemic, Varun had received numerous offers for action films but haven’t signed any. As per Pinkvilla, this year 2023, Varun is collaborating with Atlee and Murad Khetani on an action-packed comedy.

Though the title of the film is not announced yet, the production is expected to begin by the end of July or the beginning of August. Varun has been in discussions with Atlee and Murad Khetani about the schedule of filming. He may start by early August.
This movie will be a legitimate commercial entertainment. As per the sources, the team is coming together to produce a large-scale action experience for the audience, and they are currently working to bring the complete technical team on board alongside the ensemble.
The source further adds, the team is working to produce larger-than-life sequences for Varun even though the plot is filled with emotion and drama. The film will be shot over the course of four to five months since the producers want it to be a major summer 2024 release in movie theatres all over the world. The villain and female lead will be decided by June.
