Tiger 3 is the most-awaited film from the YRF Spy Universe series. The film’s trailer has received immense love from the audience worldwide. It has been known that the film will have its international release a day before on the 11th of November. For the Indian audience, the film is slated to release on the 12th of November.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, the movie’s release in Oman and Qatar seems doubtful. A source confided with the respective media outlet saying that there have been rumours about the movie being banned in these areas. However, it isn’t true. There have been no official statements regarding the same. The authorities in the West Asian countries have revealed certain hesitations about the film’s content. Tiger 3 will be released in these regions if they find it inoffensive.
The source also revealed about the reservations that these authorities had. They were speculating about the India-Pakistan issue and how Tiger tackles the terrorist attacks. However, it isn’t new to the cinema, as many films have been made in recent times referring to the same context. Oman and Qatar officials fear that depending on the mood no one can predict how the audience will perceive the film. Thus, they are a bit dicey about the situation.
The authorities will make a decision today, depending on which it will be known if Tiger 3 will be released in these regions.
An industry analyst has commented on the situation saying that the film has already been approved in UAE, Saudi Arabia and other regions. All the films of the Tiger franchise show Zoya (Katrina Kaif) a Pakistani fighting the terrorists. YRF representatives and Salman Khan have always been careful about not hurting the sentiments of any community. Thus, one should be assured that the release of Tiger 3 wouldn’t cause any problems in these regions.
