It was earlier reported that Tiger 3 starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi will be shooting for the film in various European countries. Now, the reports by Pinkvilla have revealed the film will be shot in the second half of August and will be shot abroad non-stop over 50-60 days.
A source has revealed to Pinkvilla that, “After an extensive round of recce in multiple countries, the makers have decided to shoot for Tiger 3 in Austria, Morocco, Turkey and Russia apart from a brief schedule in UAE. While Tiger Zinda Hai was more of a two-location film, Tiger 3 story demands the characters to hop from one location to another, as they are racing against time to score victory in an impossible mission. It’s going to be a 50 day plus schedule for the team”.
While Salman and others are expected to board the flight on August 12, Katrina will be joining the team later towards the end of August. The makers will first shoot the solo sequences with Salman. Meanwhile, apart from the locations mentioned above the makers had also thought about shooting in Ireland, Greece, Spain and France. Although, now it’s not sure if the cast and crew will be flying to these locations or not. The film is expected to shoot a few scenes in Mumbai at Yash Raj Studios and another ground in Goregaon also.
The source added, “In terms of vision, it’s by far not just the biggest of the franchise, but also the biggest action film of Bollywood. The makers have roped in multiple action directors from various areas of expertise, to devise the larger-than-life action in the film. The budget is upwards of Rs 300 crore, and Aditya Chopra is clear on creating content that’s meant to be experienced on the biggest possible screen,” via Pinkvilla.
Interestingly, Emraan Hashmi’s character’s name is said to be “Pakistan Ka Tiger”. The film is expected to be a fight against India’s Tiger and Pakistan’s Tiger as Emraan Hashmi is an antagonist and will be essaying the role of a rogue ISI agent.
