Tamannaah Bhatia is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Odela 2. Ahead of the film’s release, a new key visual has been unveiled by the makers. It features the actress as Shiva Shakthi. The poster’s release comes on an auspicious day of Mahashivratri.
Odela 2 is created by Sampath Nandi, who also helmed the original film Odela Railway Station. The first instalment was released in the year 2022. On Friday, Tamannaah Bhatia took to her Instagram account and shared the poster. She captioned it, “#FirstlookOdela2. I am glad to be revealing the first look on this auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri. Har Har Mahadev! Happy Maha Shivaratri.”
The poster showcased Tamannaah dressed in a sadhu’s (sage) attire. She was seen holding Shiva’s damru in one hand while she held a staff in another. The actress was seen walking on the ghats of Kashi and she was praying with her eyes closed.
As soon as the post went viral, fans flooded the comment section with heartfelt messages. A user wrote, “Wow beautiful look my favorite heroine Tamanna Garu.” Another stated, “Looks so promising can’t wait.” A netizen commented, “U never fail to give ur best, All the best,” another said, “Har har mahadev shiv Shakti ji.”
Odela 2 will be directed by Ashok Teja and created by Sampath Nandi. The first instalment featured Hebah Patel, Pujita Ponnada, Vasishta N Simha, and Sai Ronak in the lead. The film was based on a serial killer who killed married women in a village. It was based on real-life incidents.
The upcoming film will be produced by D Madhu under his banner Madhu Creations, and Sampath Nandi Teamworks. The shooting for the film has commenced in Kashi. Hebah Patel and Vasishta will reprise their role for the sequel part.
