courtesy: mintTamannaah Bhatia is all set for the release of her upcoming movie, Odela 2. While the audience has seen the actress in many glamorous roles, her upcoming film has be a tad different. She will be portraying the role of Shiva Shakti Naga Sadhu, and has revealed that she shot the film without any makeup.
During an interaction with press for Odela 2, in Hyderabad, Tamannaah revealed that she shot for her role without any make up. She also noted that this is her fourth film with writer-director Sampath Nandi, as they earlier worked together on Rachcha, Seetimarr, and Bengal Tiger, and they had literally grown up learning together. “I have learnt the significance of screenwriting while working with Samapth garu… Whenever I work with him, it would be very insightful to me because commercial cinema is something everyone can watch.”
The actress expressed gratitude to the team for bringing out a beautiful product and also working as a cohesive unit. She thanked Sampath stating that only if directors think of female actors can pull off any role, they can be versatile.
The movie is slated to hit the theatres on April 17. Odela 2 is the sequel to 2022 movie Odela Railway Station, and its trailer was launched during Maha Khumb at Prayagraj last month.
