Several media portals had suggested that Ajay Devgn will be teaming with Sanjay Dutt for a jungle adventure film, tentatively titled Ranger. The movie will be produced by Luv Films and directed by Jagan Shakti. The project, which shall feature Sanjay in negative role, is reportedly in pre-production stage and is expected to go on floors by the end of March.
Now, the latest reports by Pinkvilla has suggested that the makers have roped in Tamannaah Bhatia to play the female lead in Ranger. Citing sources close to the development, it has been learned that Tamannah is all set to join Ajay and Sanjay from the first week of April.
“She is excited to embark on this journey with the team of Ranger. It’s a well-crafted role, with an arc of redemption. She has allotted bulk dates to the team and has already started work for the film on the personal fronts. Tamannaah has also undergone multiple script reading sessions with Jagan Shakti,” revealed a source close to the development, to Pinkvilla.
Apart from Ranger, Ajay has enough on his plate as he recently wrapped up De De Pyaar De 2, and is expected to start shooting for Dhamaal 4 in a couple of days. The actor also has Drishyam 3, Shaitaan 2, and Golmaal 5 up his sleeves, and he will be next seen in theatres in Raid 2.
