Actress Taapsee Pannu recently launched her production house, Outsider Films. A few hours later, she also announced the first project of the production. Taapsee has joined hands with a content creator and producer Pranjal Khandhdiya, for this new venture. Their aim is to provide opportunities for people without any background in the film industry.
Taapsee announced the film ‘Blur’ and called it ‘an edge of the seat thriller’. The film will be directed by Ajay Bahl, who is known for his films like Section 375 and BA Pass.

With the launch of the production house, Taapsee told PTI, “With Outsiders Films, I aim to give back to the industry and empower talent who’re looking for a breakthrough and come with no background like me. Pranjal and I together look forward to opening doors for new and fresh talents, both in front and behind the camera.”
Taapsee shared a picture with her partner Pranjal Khandhdiya and wrote, “Here we are!
And it all started because of his instinct and belief that this crazy combination is worth exploring. The man who runs the show for “Outsiders Films” while I’m allowed to boss around. Pranjal and I will be treading that thin line between friendship and business together, having each other’s back, while we make sure your every rupee on our projects is worth it! The movie, Blur, is written by Pawan Sony and Ajay Bahl. Along with Outsiders Films, the movie will be produced by Vishal Rana, Tony Dsouza, Pradeep Sharma, Manav Durga, and co-produced by Param Gill and Kabir Lal.
