Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film is the Mukesh Chhabra directorial Dil Bechara. On Thursday, the makers of Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Dil Bechara dropped its first official poster. The movie will be premiered on Disney Plus Hotstar. The release date of the film will be 28th July, ’20. Ever since this news surfaced on the internet, #DilBecharaOnBigScreens started trending heavily on social media. Fans demanded the big screen release for Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film. However, reacting to this hashtag by the netizens, co-star of the late actor Sanjana Sanghi took to Instagram and reacted to the trend #DilBecharaOnBigScreens. She said, we should not make it about big or small screens; it should rather be about the late actor. In her long note, Sanjana had asked people to forget the debate and pour their love on the film no matter on which screen it is releasing.
Not only the netizens and fans, but also the family members of the late actor are disappointed over the shifting of theatre release to OTT. Cousin of Sushant Singh said that they are not in support of this decision and want the film to release on 70 mm only. He stated to ABP that his brother has been working in films so that they could release on big screens not on digital.”
As a tribute to the actor, makers should release the film on big screens so that everyone could watch it each easily. So we want the film to be released on the big screen only and nowhere else,” cousin brother added.
From the moment I saw it 5 years ago, I knew this was the story I wanted to tell in my first film! Thank you @shailenewoodley @AnselElgort and @johngreen or bringing these characters in my life.#TheFaultInOurStars #DilBechara @itsSSR @sanjanasanghi96 @foxstarhindi pic.twitter.com/fcWIIrUMlU
