2024 was a rare year when Salman Khan did not make it to the silver screen with a lead role, however, the Bhaijaan of Bollywood did not disappoint his fans as he appeared for a cameo in Varun Dhawan starrer Baby John. Now, the superstar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Sikandar, the teaser for which was released on December 28. While it was earlier scheduled to release on December 27, Salman’s birthday, it was postponed due to the passing away of Dr. Manmohan Singh.
The teaser of Sikandar succeeded in quenching the thirst of Bhai fans not just in India but around the world. The 80-second teaser oozed Salman’s unique style, antics, and swag along with some exciting fight sequence.
In wake of the exciting response to the teasers, the makers have decided to opt for a wider release of the movie, which has been scheduled for Eid 2025. It is now learnt that Sikandar will be hitting as many as 5,000 screens across India in Hindi alone. If the excitement for the film goes even higher leading up to its release, the screen count could be increased further.
Sikandar is being backed by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson production house, and is directed by AR Murugadoss. The movie will feature Rashmika Mandanna in female lead.
