Shanaya Kapoor is inching closer to her big Bollywood debut as she recently wrapped the Baku schedule of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, a romantic drama based on a Ruskin Bond story.
Taking to social media, Shanaya shared a heartfelt post expressing her gratitude for the opportunity. In the photos, she posed with the film’s clapboard, radiating excitement in a stylish black jacket.
The film, helmed by Santosh Singh and produced by Mini Films, promises a contemporary take on love and modern relationships. Speaking about her role, Shanaya said, “My character is very close to my heart—she’s strong, emotional, and vibrant.” Director Santosh Singh also praised her performance, saying, “Shanaya will bring a freshness to this film.”
The shoot for Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan began in Mumbai and will continue in Mussoorie and various European locations. The film, scheduled for release in 2025, marks an important milestone in Shanaya’s career. Fans are eagerly awaiting the on-screen chemistry between her and Vikrant Massey, making this one of the most anticipated debuts of the year.
