Bollywood’s latest debutante, Shanaya Kapoor, is all set to step into the industry with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, an unconventional love story co-starring Vikrant Massey.

Inspired by a short story by Ruskin Bond, the film explores themes of romance and ghosting, offering a contemporary narrative that resonates with today’s audiences.

Directed by Santosh Singh and produced by Mini Films, the film’s shoot recently wrapped in Baku, Azerbaijan. The production team will now move to Mussoorie and Europe for the final leg. Sharing her excitement, Shanaya said, “I am grateful for this opportunity. My character is strong, emotional, and vibrant—something I deeply connect with.”

Vikrant Massey, known for his nuanced performances, is expected to bring depth to the film’s storyline. Meanwhile, director Santosh Singh praised Shanaya’s performance, saying, “Her acting journey is starting with this film, and she will bring freshness to the character.”

With an intriguing plot, stunning locations, and a fresh pairing, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is shaping up to be a promising debut for Shanaya. Slated for a 2025 release, fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing how this adaptation unfolds on the big screen.
