Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are set to once again share the space on silver screen for the highly anticipated sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Pathaan.
The superstar jodi, who delivered one of the biggest box office hits in the Hindi film industry, are getting ready for the next chapter in their spy action film. The movie will be a part of Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe, and is confirmed to bring back SRK as the chiseled RAW Agent, along with Deepika, who stunned audience with her portrayal of Rubina.
The word on the street is that Ashutosh Rana, who played Colonel Sunil Luthra, might also return for another installment.
As per a report by ETimes, it has been suggested that the team is still wrapping up work on the script. It was not too long ago that screenwriter Abbas Tyrewala confirmed that the movie’s script is almost complete and is nearing dialogue stage.
While the reports have also suggested that the production of the film is already locked, it might not be the case. This is because SRK is currently busy with the production of King, wherein he will be sharing screen space with daughter, Suhana Khan. On the other hand, Deepika is currently on maternity break since welcoming her daughter Dua last September.
