Sanya Malhotra has been basking in the success of her latest release Mrs., the makers of which opted for an OTT release. The movie shattered records as it opened with highest ever opening for Zee5. The actress is not only being praised for her performance in the film, but is also acknowledged for her choice of film, as it has started conversations over the patriarchal society.
Now, Sanya took to her Instagram handle to share a heartwarming note in response to the overwhelming reaction to her film.
In the lengthy note, she wrote, “Sachi bolun? I’m truly overwhelmed by all the love and appreciation Mrs. is receiving. This film is soooo close to my heart and its story means the world to me.”
The actress added that over time she learnt to disconnect with her films post its release, however, it is different with Mrs. She explained that seeing how deeply people are relating to the story, it is “heartbreaking yet heartwarming at the same time.”
She expressed her gratitude over the film receiving so much love and noted that it “has given [her] even more confidence to be a part of each stories boldly and wholeheartedly.”
