Sanam Teri Kasam, which was released in 2016, might not have performed at its best at the box office, but it did impress the audience with its music and acting. As per a report in Hindustan Times, directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru are working on a sequel to Harshvardhan Rane and Maawra Hocane’s starrer.

“The makers want to make a sequel to ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’. However, it is at a very nascent stage currently,” shared a production to Hindustan Times.

The source added that the makers have started with the casting process yet, so we can say that the project is in pre-production phase.

As per the report, Harshvardhan and Maawra will not be reprising their roles in the sequel, as the makers did not want to repeat the cast. Currently, the auditions for main leads are underway and the auditions for the supporting cast will began afterwards. The sequel has been titled Jaanam Teri Kasam.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Harshvardhan was last seen in Dange, which was released on March 1. He was seen sharing screen space with Nikita Dutta, Ehan Bhat, and TJ Bhanu in lead roles.
