Sanam Teri Kasam is enjoying a remarkable resurgence upon its re-release, despite no promotions or pre-release buzz. Once a box office disappointment, the film is now receiving immense love. Adding to the excitement, Amitabh Bachchan has extended his best wishes, leaving the movie’s lead actor, Harshvardhan Rane overwhelmed.
The actor expressed his excitement on Instagram after the megastar acknowledged the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam. He penned, “BACHCHAN SAAB. First GOD noticed, and now Sir YOU noticed.” Amitabh Bachchan shared the film’s poster and wrote, “All good wishes for this re release …”
The fans have flooded the social media with reactions to the film’s re-release and now Big B’s acknowledgement. One user wrote, “Ho bhi gayi, hit bhi hui,” while another user wrote, “Ab to super hit ho jayegi on re-release.”
The movie was directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. Sanam Teri Kasam continues to shine at the box office, and has outperformed the fresh releases Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar. The movie, which had collected around Rs. 9 crore during its initial release, has now minted more than Rs. 30 crore.
The film had marked the Hindi debut for Harshvardhan, and also featured Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane in lead role.
