Actor Vicky Kaushal on Tuesday announced that he has wrapped the shooting of his next feature project “Sam Bahadur”, directed by Meghna Gulzar. “Sam Bahadur” is based on the life and times of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, one of India’s greatest war heroes. Other than Vicky Kaushal the movie stars Sanya Malhotra as Manekshaw’s wife Silloo and Fatima Sana Shaikh as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
The script of the movie is written by Bhavani Iyer, Gulzar, and Shantanu Srivastava. Gulzar also serves as a lyricist on the movie with music by the popular trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
Vicky Kaushal announced that the shoot of his upcoming film has ended via his Instagram. He posted a photo and wrote, “Gratitude gratitude and only gratitude… to be a part of this process to depict the life of a true legend, to be a part of this team which truly gave it their all. So much I got to live, so much I got to learn… so much there is to bring to you all.

The whole crew and cast of the movie also had a wrap up party, Vicky Kaushal made an entry in a casual black hoodie and teamed it with a cap. His two leading ladies, Sanya and Fatima were dressed in their festive best. Sanya looked lovely in a ruffled-off shoulder white dress while Fatima made heads turn in a shimmery black dress.
