Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3 to be on floors in February, ’21, Katrina Kaif is being considered for the lead

Yash Raj’s third part of Tiger franchise will be soon going on big screens as the makers are ready to kick off the work

Salman Khan and Aditya Chopra are taking up chance for their ambitious venture with the Tiger franchise after the films gave a massive number in box office. Bollywood producer Aditya Chopra is interested in releasing the third upcoming thriller movie in a grand scale and has prepared the story that will travel in seven different countries. As the travel restrictions are easing up with the Unlock, Chopra has advised the director Maneesh Sharma to start with the story before the year-end.

A trade source revealed to mid-day, “If everything goes as planned, Maneesh Sharma and his team will conduct a recce across the UAE, Istanbul and US in December. The rest of the countries have yet to be pencilled in. Tiger 3 is close to Adi’s heart as he has developed the screen play along with Jaideep Sahni. Despite the industry slowdown, Adi is certain that the film has the makings of blockbuster. Maneesh and he wants to take it on floors by February”. Chopra is also thinking of featuring Katrina Kaif in the movie.
The source further added, “They want to cast a relatively new face as the villain, like they did with Sajjad Delafarooz and Sal Yusuf in Tiger Zinda Hai”.

The announcement was first decided to unveil during Yash Chopra‘s 50th birthday celebration but will be delayed due to the ongoing crisis.
