Movie Sooryavanshi directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar starring Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Ranveer Singh will be soon released in theaters on November 5th .
Rohit Shetty has been shooting for a special promo to announce the release date of the movie.Sooryavanshi is a based on cop drama. Which features Akshay Kumar in the title role and Katrina Kaif as the leading lady.
Earlier, the movie was supposed to be on the big screens by March 2020, just when Covid-19 struck India followed by Country wide lockdown.Even though the movie is releasing a year late, the film promises to entertain the audience with some thriller action and crazy stunts.
In his tweet, Akshay Kumar wrote: “Interval hua khatam (interval is over), now it’s showtime! Sooryavanshi releasing this Diwali, November 5 at a cinema near you. Come celebrate with us.”
Katrina shared on Instagram announcing the release of the movie.She says, “18 months have passed since our entire entertainment industry including film & stage has been on a standstill due to the pandemic. It’s been a long difficult wait for us but finally patience prevailed and we are back. Now it’s not about just our film but it’s about our industry as a family and the relationship we share with our beloved audience. So let’s come together for the magic of cinema!”
Sooryavanshi is among those movies, which have opted for a theater release instead of releasing on OTT platforms, and hence been rescheduled several times owing to the pandemic situation. In 2020, shoots and productions were halted in mid-March due to the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
