The upcoming sports entertainer film starring Ranveer Singh has been declared tax free by the state government in Delhi

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is all ready and gearing up for his latest releases of ’83. The movie revolves around the story of India’s historical 1983 cricket world cup win, helmed by Kabir Khan. And in current news, the state government of Delhi declared ’83 tax-free.

Absolutely yes, you read that right. The film is seen with actors Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker SharmaNishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Kahttar, Amy Virk, Addinath Kathore, Dhairya Karwa, and R Badree. As a special role, Deepika Padukone will make an appearance in the film. She will be essaying the role of Kapil’s wife, Romi Dev.

In an exclusive interview with the E-times, director Kabir recently told, “You know,83 is a big responsibility for me. I knew if I don’t recreate this correctly, the country will not forgive me. Ditto for Ranveer: If he won’t portray Kapil correctly, the audience will not forgive him. And as you see from the trailer, he has done it brilliantly. He worlded really very hard for this”.

The movie ’83 is starred Ranveer Singh as the lead role of former Indian captain Kapil Dev, who led the winning squad. From reports, it has also been learned that Mohinder Amarnath, who was the vice-captain of the winning team, will be a part of the sports entertainer to be released. Although he will not be portraying himself in ’83, he will be seen playing the role of his father, Lala Amarnath.

’83, the next sports entertainer will hit the big screens on December 24th.
