Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal will be released on the 1st of December. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film is themed around an action-drama genre. It will be released in 5 different languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
As per a report by Boxofficeindia.com, Animal is likely to break records of Jawan in its Telugu opening in theatres. Pre-booking of the film hasn’t started in India as of now. But it has been made available in the US and UK for a specified period. The responses of a Telugu version of Animal is ‘outstanding’ as mentioned by the website.
The report also claims further that usually there are no advance bookings for a Telugu dubbed film. However, Animal’s Telugu version is attaining a decent amount of reservations in the top cinemas in the UK and US. This is also because filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga is highly liked by the Telugu audience globally.
Looking at Animal’s booking trajectory in foreign countries it can be assumed that the trend could follow in India as well. Two highly Telugu-speaking states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana could also shower immense love for the movie and break the first-day total of Jawan, which was Rs 4.72 crore.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan was a massive success. The film is directed by Atlee and also featured Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra and Ridhi Dogra in lead roles. As reported by Sacnilk.com, Jawan attained a gross profit of Rs 61.31 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Animal is highly anticipated by the fans and with the release of the trailer tomorrow, it has garnered more attention. The trailer video showcases Ranbir’s obsessive love for his father and how he would do anything to get his validation. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in key roles. Director Sandeep also revealed the run time of the film which is going to be 3 hours 25 minutes.
