Ramesh Taurani sparked much thrill among fans as he announced a new installment to hit movie franchise, Race. He confirmed working on its fourth installment and also insisted that it will mark the return of Saif Ali Khan, who has been the lead actor in first two parts. Now, the recent reports have suggested that Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in for the same.
As per a report in India Today, citing sources, it has been confirmed that Rakul Preet Singh has been signed on for a film that is produced by Ramesh and features Saif. While the sources have not clearly named the film to be Race, but it is the only film that seems to fit the bill. “Rakul is set to team up with Saif Ali Khan for an exciting new project under Ramesh Taurani’s banner. After the success of Mere Husband Ki Biwi, she’s making smart choices, and this film will only add to her momentum,” the source was quoted, as per reports.
Speaking of Race 4, Ramesh Taurani had revealed to PTI that they are finalizing the script and cast of the movie, and are yet to decide on the director.
Earlier, another reports had suggested that Sidharth Malhotra has been roped for second lead along with Saif.
