Pushpa 2: The Rule is one of the most highly anticipated films, and the developers intend to make it even more fascinating and thrilling. According to rumours, the producers are currently hunting for a well-known Bollywood actor to star in the Allu Arjun flick.
According to Siasat, Sanjay Dutt could appear in Pushpa 2 as a cameo character. According to sources, the actor will play a “influencial figure” in the Sukumar-directed picture, giving “an extra layer to any storyline.” However, there has been no formal confirmation of this.
Interestingly, this comes months after E-Times stated that Pushpa director Sukumar had decided to cast ‘one prominent Bollywood A-lister’ in Pushpa 2.
Previous speculations of Manoj Bajpayee being called for Pushpa 2 made headlines. However, when News18 Showsha reached the actor, he dismissed the allegations as ‘fake’. “There is no truth!” False news! “That’s all I have to say,” he said.
Sukumar wrote and directed the film Pushpa: The Rise, which came out in 2021. The film was a great hit at the box office. The final phase of filming for Pushpa 2 is now underway. The shoot was delayed for a few weeks in November 2023 due to Allu Arjun’s health issues, but it was later resumed.
Last year, Allu Arjun released his first look poster for Pushpa 2, in which he wore a saree and had his face painted blue and red. Later, a look poster for Fahadh Faasil from the film was also released. Fans are currently waiting for Rashmika Mandanna’s look poster.
Pushpa 2: The Rule hits cinemas on August 15, 2024.
