Producer Sangeeta Ahir has stepped into South Indian cinema with her Telegu debut film, “Spy”

The well-known film producer, Sangeeta Ahir has recently entered the South Indian cinema market with the announcement of “Spy,” her first Telugu-language feature film.

Through the Telugu film “Spy,” Sangeeta Ahir and her production firm, “Mangalmurti Films Private Limited,” declared today that they are preparing to enter the southern film market. The movie will release at the end of the next month i.e. June 29, 2023. In addition to Telegu, it will also be released in Hindi for the audience in the North.

Nikhil Siddhartha, star of the blockbuster films “Kartikeya” and “Kartikeya 2,” will play the lead in the film. For those who are unaware, Spy is a suspense-thriller movie that was also co-produced by Cinekorn Entertainment’s K. Rajashekhar Reddy and Kalapi Nagada. The film is directed by Garry BH, and K. Rajashekhar Reddy wrote the screenplay.

Sangeeta Ahir, who produced the Telugu version of “Spy,” is looking forward to the movie’s debut. She referred to “Spy” as “another feather in my cap” and “a significant turning point in my film career”. She also expressed her excitement by saying, “Over the past 1.5 decades, I have created numerous Hindi and Marathi films that were not only unique in their issues but also widely discussed and well accepted by the viewers.”

“Our business has been considering expanding into the south market for a while, therefore we were eager to partner with the Spy film.” Sangeeta is looking forward to make her Tollywood debut after delivering successes like Golmaal Returns, “Total Dhamaal,” and “Dagadi Chawl.”
