Prabhas starrer Salaar crosses Rs 250 crore target in India, earns Rs 40 crore on its 4th day of release 

Prabhas’s Salaar: Part One-Ceasefire was released on the 22nd of December and fans are gushing with excitement at the look of it. According to Sacnilk, the action-thriller minted Rs 48.8 crore on its fourth day of release at the domestic box office. While the total collection of the film overall stands at Rs 254.9 crore as of now. The film was released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada language.

On its first day of release, the film earned Rs 95 crore in India, including all language cinema. It also become the movie with the highest opening of the year.

Salaar is directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel and is produced by Vijay Kindgandur under the banner of Hombale Films. The film stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Eshwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. Salaar had a face-off with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki, which was released on the 21st of December.

Prabhas’s Salaar revolves around two friends Deva (Prabhas)  and Vardha (Prithviraj Sukumaran). However, due to a series of events they turn from friends to foes and engulf in the horrifying realm of Khansaar. This film also marks the first-ever collaboration between Prabhas and  Prashanth Neel.

In a recent interview, Prabhas stated that Prashanth is the best director that he has received in two decades of his film career. He also shared how he took certain classes for the sporting of the respective character.
