Not ‘Second Innings’, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao’s next to be called ‘Hum Do Humaare Do’

The film also stars Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia in prominent roles. It is expected to hit the theatres early next year.

There have been reports of Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao coming together again for a quirky comedy film. However, now the reports indicate that title of the film has been altered. The film, which was earlier named ‘Second Innings’, has now been titled ‘Hum Do Humaare Do’.

Speaking about the title of the film, a source said to Pinkvilla, “There were rumours that the film would be titled Second Innings. It revolves around a married couple who decide to adopt parents and how they together create havoc in their otherwise blissful marriage is what the crazy comedy is about. It’s a unique idea that was conceptualized earlier this year.”

The source further added, “While Second Innings did sound catchy, the makers wanted a more suitable title for the film’s novel idea. They have zeroed in on one which they plan to keep. They are calling the film Hum Do Humare Do.”

The upcoming film, a product venture of Dinesh Vijan, will be directed by debutante director Abhishek Jain. The film also stars Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia in prominent roles.

The film was supposed to go on floors earlier this year but was stuck because of the COVID-19 outbreak across the country. Presently, both Kriti and Rajkummar have flown to Chandigarh to kickstart the shoot. The film is expected to hit the theatres early next year.
