Before the film’s debut, the producers intend to release a version of the hit song Pasoori. It was initially performed by Pakistani singer-songwriter Ali Sethi and singer Shae Gill, who became an instant hit after Coke Studio released the song.

According to sources, Pasoori’s adaptation would be shot in Mumbai over two days beginning today.
Fans are pleased at the news, but some are also critical of the makers for recreating the much-loved song. Some supporters are hopeful that ‘this is all a huge fat lie.’

Satyaprem Ki Katha will hit theatres on June 29th. The title was dragged before the film. Originally titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha, the film drew criticism for mentioning the Hindu God Vishnu.
