Mumbai Police has stopped the shooting of John Abraham and Disha Patani starrer ‘Ek Villain Returns.’ According to a report the Police have filed an FIR against the ‘Ek Villain Returns’ team for not following COVID-19 protocols set by the State Government.
Further, ‘Ek Villain Returns’ team was shooting in Worli village in Mumbai last night. The unit shot for some scenes and the shoot was halted by the police as the crew was filming without following any COVID norms. There were no social distancing norms followed which compelled the cops to stop the shoot.

Meanwhile, recently Maharashtra has once again seen a spike in COVID-19 cases. Thought lockdown has been partially removed yet the citizens are strictly asked to follow covid protocols. Despite all this the careless behaviour continues due to which now more than 10,000 cases have been registered.
Talking about the film, it will be for the first time, John Abraham will be sharing the screen space with Disha. The film also stars Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria in key roles. ‘Ek Villain Returns,’ which will release next year, is a sequel to the 2014 hit film ‘Ek Villain’ which starred Shraddha Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh and Sidharth Malhotra.
