1. Ponniyin Selvan 2

Being the sequel to the epic historical drama Ponniyin Selvan, the film is made under the direction of Mani Ratnam. The second instalment will make its way into the theatres this Friday. The cast includes Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha and Jayaram in principal roles. The story revolves around the period between 900 AD and 950 AD and showcases the events happening in the Chola Kingdom under the kingship of Sundara Chola. The second part follows the portrayal of King Sundara’s early days as a young prince and the incidents that transpired to become a beautiful love story with his then-lover. The tale is adapted from a book by the same name.

Akhil Akkineni starrer ‘Agent’ is an action-thriller film releasing on 28th April. It is a Telugu language drama. The movie is directed by Surender Reddy and the story is written by Vakkantham Vamsi. The film stars  Akhil Akkineni, Manmoothy, Dino Morea, Vikramjeet Virk and Sakshi Vaidya in lead roles. The plot of the movie depicts an agent who is given the responsibility to uncover the secrets of an unknown terrorist organization. Raghavendra Stores is a Kannada language movie directed by Santhosh Anandram. The film features Jaggesh, Shwetha Srivatsav and Ravishankar Gowda in major roles.
