Masti 4: Ritesh Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani to reunite for the comedy sequel

The ‘Masti’ film franchise is scheduled to return with a fourth chapter.

The ‘Masti’ film franchise is set to return with its fourth installment, with filming beginning nearly 20 years after the first installment was released.

The picture, named ‘Masti 4’, will begin production this summer and will return to its roots, according to filmmaker Milap Zaveri, who is poised to take over as director. ‘Masti 4′ is expected to combine the same level of comedy with the leads’ naughty charm. Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani will reunite for the forthcoming film.

The makers also unveiled the logo of the film on Thursday.

The film promises to capture the essence of the original film while embarking on a fresh adventure full of humour, love, and exploits.

Talking about the film, Milap Zaveri said in a statement, “At its core, ‘Masti 4’ is a celebration of friendship, marriage, mischief, and the undying spirit of laughter. We want to go back to the OG for its essence and bring back laughter with a new story that will resonate while delivering a fresh dose of hilarity and heart.”

‘Masti’, released in 2004, was a big economic success and was rebooted for the previous two sequels, ‘Grand Masti’ and ‘Great Grand Masti’. Indra Kumar, A. Jhunjhunwala, Ashok Thakeria, and S. K. Ahluwalia have produced ‘Masti 4’.
