Katrina Kaif to become a Superhero in Ali Abbas Zafar’s next, film to go on floors post lockdown

Bollywood sensation Katrina Kaif, has given some of the biggest hits to Bollywood. And a lot of them has come from her collaboration with director Ali Abbas Zafar. Whether it’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ or ‘Bharat’ the actor-director duo as worked on several biggies. And now they are collaborating again, this time for a superhero film.

Earlier there were some speculations about Ali making a female superhero film with his ‘Bharat’ leading lady. And, ‘Ek tha Tiger’ actress has time and again has spoken about her eagerness for doing a Super Hero Film. It looks like Katrina’s wish was heard by her very close friend, Ali Abbas Zafar.

Ali Abbas Zafar in his recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, revealed that he is going to create an action saga which will be female superhero centric. Ali told that recently, he locked that script and it will go on the floors as soon as the lockdown ends.

The Bharat director added “There’s a lot of prep required because of the kind of action involved and I am in touch with an international team over video calls. I’m also doing script readings with my actors and chatting with the production designer. There is a lot happening.”
It seems that Ali wants to create an action saga which Indian celluloid has never seen before.

He also revealed that he completed first draft of another project as well, and the script will be ready soon. Shooting is stalled amidst coronavirus pandemic. Katrina Kaif’s most awaited upcoming film which was initially scheduled to release in April, ‘Suryavanshi’ is scheduled to release in Diwali. Katrina was last seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’ alongside Superstar Salman Khan.
