Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar had earlier joined hands for the sequel of Dostana, but it did not fruitify for some reason. In 2023, the duo rumored to be coming together for a patriotic war film, which shall be directed by Sandeep Mishra. Now, the actor and the filmmaker’s second collaboration post their Dostana 2 fiasco has been officially announced.
This time, it is romantic – comedy film, titled Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. The actor shared a fun video on his Instagram handle, sharing the title poster of the film. He wrote, “Tumhara RAY aa raha hai RUMI ✈️ ♥️ Mummy ki khaayi hui kasam, yeh Mumma’s boy poori karke he rehta hai! Super excited to return to my fav genre Rom-com #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri… The biggest love story coming to cinemas in 2026 ❤️”
The announcement video featured a voiceover by Kartik in his signature monologue style. He talked about how everyone know about his three breakups, but were not aware of the bad states exes were in, post separation.
He continued by saying that in order to ensure that this does not happen to the forth one, he was willing to do everything in his power so they aren’t separated.
