Kamal Haasan and his daughter Shruti Haasan are about to embark on a new cinematic voyage, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
This cooperation marks an important milestone because it is the first time Kamal Haasan’s production business, Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI), has collaborated with Shruti Haasan, with Lokesh Kanagaraj directing.
Fans were pleasantly surprised by the announcement, which came with an interesting poster featuring Shruti Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj.
The post’s title, ‘Inimei Delulu is the new Solulu,’ as well as hashtags like #IdhuveyRelationship, #IdhuveySituationship, and #IdhuveyDelusionship, all point to the film’s emphasis on relationships.
This is Lokesh’s second cooperation with RKFI, following the huge success of ‘Vikram’, starring Kamal Haasan. The term ‘Relationship’ in the announcement suggests that the film may explore nuanced interpersonal dynamics.
Kamal Haasan’s dual status as producer and father adds to the excitement around this project. While Kamal and Shruti have previously collaborated in numerous professional roles, this project represents a crucial milestone in their cinematic journey together. Shruti Haasan, recognised for her diverse performances and contributions to her father’s films as a vocalist, adds to the project’s intrigue.
In addition to this cooperation, Shruti Haasan has a number of intriguing initiatives planned for 2024. Following her breakthrough in 2023 with movies such as “Waltair Veerayya,” “Veera Simha Reddy,” “Salaar,” and a cameo in “Hi Nanna,” Shruti is going to feature opposite Adivi Sesh in “Dacoit,” promising audiences a gripping blend of action and drama. Furthermore, she is set to play the lead in ‘Chennai Story,’ which adds to the excitement around her impending projects.
Lokesh Kanagaraj’s track record and upcoming projects have established him as one of the most sought-after directors in South India. Following the debut of ‘Leo’ starring Thalapathy Vijay, Lokesh’s grandiose ambitions for the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, which include sequels such as ‘Kaithi 2’ and ‘Vikram 2,’ have received a lot of attention.
However, with this latest revelation, debate has begun concerning the film’s relationship to the LCU and its viability as a separate project. Furthermore, Lokesh’s association with Rajinikanth strengthens his reputation as a key character in South Indian cinema, with fans eagerly awaiting updates on his future projects.
