Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, has finally given us its first look after much waiting and numerous delays. The name of the Prabhas and Deepika Padukone-starring film, Project K, has been modified. Although it is too soon to make any assumptions, the new title could be significant to the movie’s plot or could possibly provide information about the story’s timeline.
The first glance teaser introduces us to a dystopian society akin to Dune where the dark forces have triumphed over the light. In a queue with other female soldiers, Deepika Padukone was pictured looking glum. On the other hand, Prabhas looked like he was on a mission and was dressed in his warrior suit.
Additionally, the teaser featured Deepika Padukone and Prabhas on-screen together for the first time. Nag Ashwin’s fictional world could have to endure comparisons to the highly regarded Dune film from Hollywood.
