Kaagaz 2 trailer unveiled: Satish Kaushik’s last film delves into the intricacies of a common man

On Thursday, Anupam Kher unveiled the new poster from his upcoming film Kaagaz 2. The post was a heartfelt tribute to the late actor Satish Kumar, as Kaagaz 2 will mark his last on-screen appearance. Today, on the 9th of February, the makers revealed the official trailer of the movie, sharing interesting insights from the plotline.

Inspired by true events, Kaagaz 2’s trailer shared glimpses of how a person’s basic right is infringed due to rallies and protests. It showcases how a person struggles to seek justice for his daughter who passed away due to the delay in her operation, which was caused by political rallies. The movie showcases the workings of the judiciary and politics and their concern towards the common man.


Directed by VK Prakash, the film features Satish Kaushik, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Smriti Kalra and Darshan Kumar in key roles. It is produced by Ratan Jain, Shashi Satish Kaushik and Ganesh Jain under the banner of Satish Kaushik Entertainment LLP & Venus Worldwide Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

Kaagaz movie starred Pankaj Tripathi in the lead. The movie was highly applauded by the audience and was one of the most acclaimed movies of 2021. The second instalment also promises to offer the same sense of perspective and shed light on sensitive issues.

On Thursday, Anupam Kher shared a poster from the film and paid tribute to the late actor. He captioned the post by writing, “Dearest #SATISHKAUSHIK!
