Recently, a teaser of JNU- Jahangir National University has been unveiled, sharing insights from the top-most famous institute in India.
The teaser video starts with how JNU has been one of the prestige universities in India. However, the educational institute always seems to be in the headlines due to the protest and student union movements. The teaser states the concepts of anti-national, criminal conspiracy and sedition post-terrorism, which are indulged by the university.
The promo video shares the constant uprising in the institute between the students of left and right-wing ideologies. The narrator at the beginning of the video even states how the students in JNU are often seen outside protesting instead of in classes. It even mentions that if one university can break a country.
The movie will rightfully showcase the dark side of student activism. And how the students are being influenced into committing to different ideologies. It will reveal the actual culture of JNU and the working of student politics there.
As soon as the teaser went viral, fans bombarded the comment section with exciting messages. JNU: Jahangir National University is helmed by Vinay Sharma. It is produced by Pratima Dutta. The movie features Urvashi Rautela, Siddharth Bodke, Ravi Kishan, Piyush Mishra, Rashami Desai, Vijay Raaz, Atul Pandey, Kunj Anand and Sonnalli Seygall in key roles.
The film is slated to release on the 5th of April, 2024.
