Hombale Films has grown to be one of the most sought-after production companies in Southern India as a result of the enormous success of the ‘KGF’ franchise and ‘Kantara.’
With consecutive blockbusters setting a new standard for themselves, the production company is now preparing for ‘Dhoomam.’ The movie, which follows ‘Tyson’ with Prithviraj Sukumaran and stars Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil, National Award-winning actress Aparna Balamurali of ‘Soorarai Pottru’ fame, and Roshan Mathew of Netflix’s ‘Darlings’ renown, would be Hombale’s second Malayalam release.
The production company revealed the project on Twitter and then shared its first image. Captioned, “There is no smoke without fire, here is the first spark. Presenting #Dhoomam First Look #DhoomamFirstLook”

The film ‘Dhoomam,’ which is billed as a fast-paced thriller, would be largely filmed in Kerala and Karnataka.
Hombale Productions’ Vijay Kiragandur said in a press release: “We are excited to present the first look of ‘Dhoomam’, a movie that promises to keep the audience on the edge of their seats with its intriguing storyline and captivating performances. We have a talented cast and crew who have worked tirelessly to bring this movie to life and we are confident that the movie will be a hit among the fans.”
The remaining cast members are anticipated to include actors Achyut Kumar, Joy Mathew, Dev Mohan, Anu Mohan, Saiju Kurup, Dileesh Pothan, Aju Varghese, and Nandhu.
With their 2016 Malayalam film ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram,’ which is regarded as one of Faasil’s must-watch movies, ‘Dhoomam’ will mark the pair’s comeback.
The film, which was directed by Pawan Kumar, is planned for release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
Currently, Prashant Neel’s forthcoming Indian film “Salaar,” starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan, is being produced by Hombale Productions.
