Avnish Barjatya, the son of Sooraj Barjatya, will make his directorial debut with the movie “Dono.” Intriguingly, the movie marks not only Avnish’s directing debut, but also the Bollywood debuts of Rajveer Deol, son of Sunny Deol, and Paloma Dhillon, daughter of Poonam Dhillon.
As he shared a poster for the movie on Instagram on Monday (July 24), Sunny Deol included his fans and followers in the story of his son Rajveer’s new beginning.
Rajveer and Paloma are depicted on the poster relaxing by the beach and taking in the breathtaking scenery while turning their backs on the camera.
Sharing the poster, Sunny wrote, “It’s the start of a new beginning! #Dono, TEASER OUT TOMORROW.”
Rajshri Production, which is celebrating its 75th year in the Hindi film industry, revealed on Thursday its 59th movie, a love story called “Dono,” along with a teaser release date on Instagram.
On July 25, the teaser will be released. A nostalgic flashback to Salman Khan and Bhagyashree’s debut film, “Maine Pyar Kiya,” from 1989, which was helmed by the-then-debutant director Sooraj Barjatya, features two new faces in a brand-new love story.
After serving as an Associate Director on the highly acclaimed Uunchai (2022) and Assistant Director on the mega-hit Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015), Avnish will lead Rajshri’s 59th film as a director.
Dharmendra, a seasoned actor and Rajveer’s grandpa, posted the update on social media in 2020. The “Dharam Veer” actor tweeted, “Introducing my grandson #RajveerDeol to the world of cinema along with #Avnishbarjatya directorial debut,” wrote the ‘Dharam Veer’ actor.

Ajit Kumar Barjatya, Kamal Kumar Barjatya, Late Rajkumar Barjatya, and Jyoti Deshpande produced the movie, which was directed by Avnish Barjatya. Sooraj Barjatya is in charge of the film’s inventive production, which will soon be released in theatres.
