After directing Don (2006) and Don 2 (2011), Farhan Akhtar is set to return to the hit movie franchise with an highly anticipated third installment. The film starring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani in lead is already generating quite a buzz, and the latest updates has claimed that Vikrant Massey has been roped in to play the villain.
As per a report by Filmfare, citing a s0urce close to Don 3, Vikrant will be playing the villain in the upcoming crime thriller. “Vikrant is playing the antagonist in Don 3,” stated the source, which has indeed created more excitement among the fans.
Earlier, there were reports that Vikrant is being approached for a role in Don 3. India Today had reported that the 12th Fail actor is being considered for the role of antagonist in Don 3, opposite Ranveer Singh.
While the role sounds promising, it has also been mentioned that Vikrant is yet to sign on for the project. It seems that those talks have turned into confirmation.
Farhan made a special announcement in August 2023, revealing that Ranveer would be playing the role of new mafia kingpin in Don 3. He had confirmed that the movie will go on floor in 2025.
