The Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is rewriting box office history with a thunderous opening weekend, emerging as one of the fastest-grossing Bollywood films of all time.
According to trade reports, the film kickstarted its run with a massive ₹43 crore net collection from paid previews on March 18
Following this, the film registered a phenomenal opening day collection of over ₹100 crore in India, placing it among the biggest openers in Hindi cinema.
However, like most big-ticket releases, the film saw a slight dip on its second day (Friday), earning around ₹80 crore. Despite the drop, Dhurandhar 2 comfortably crossed the ₹200 crore mark within just two days, continuing its record-breaking streak
Day 3 trends and total collection
The film has maintained strong momentum on its first Saturday. Early estimates suggest it collected around ₹29.44 crore by noon, pushing its total India net collection to approximately ₹255.71 crore within three days.
Occupancy trends further highlight the film’s growing momentum, with Saturday witnessing around 71% occupancy—significantly higher than Friday’s 62%, indicating strong weekend growth.
As per reports, Dhurandhar 2 is on track for a massive opening weekend total and could soon challenge the lifetime collection of War (₹318 crore), starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff.
The film’s success also builds on the legacy of its predecessor, which crossed ₹1000 crore globally, making the sequel one of the most anticipated releases of 2026.
