The actor-turned-director was unable to stop raving about Bollywood and its approach to creating movies. Furthermore, he mentioned watching Indian movies like RRR and declared his desire to work in Bollywood. Along with him, his daughter Lucy DeVito and co-star Aubrey Plaza also decided to give Indian movies a try.

“I love Bollywood big time” Danny DeVito stated when he spoke to IndiaToday.in about watching RRR and Bollywood movies. In fact, I recently saw RRR and another one called R… Rajkumar, and they were both excellent. We should surely explode into a huge number, in my opinion, if I had my way next season or whenever I could persuade everyone to agree to it.” Lucy and Aubrey agreed with him and said, “We must do “Bollywood” together.

Additionally, Danny DeVito explained why he is so smitten with Bollywood. “What I appreciate about Bollywood is how it preserves the narrative. If it’s a love story, we’ll witness the two main characters fighting. Similar to RRR, it is about the conflicts amongst everyone, and the singing maintains the narrative. I also adore that element of it. I think it’s wonderful,” he said.

RRR is directed by SS Rajamouli and stars Ram Charan, Junior NTR, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn in prominent roles. The movie, a historical drama set in the years before independence, was made in several different languages. The South, as well as viewers from other parts of the country and the world, responded enthusiastically to the movie.
