Filmmaker Ayan Mukherjee has finally announced the timeline for Brahmastra parts 2 and 3, after the success of Brahmastra part one.
The young Filmmaker took his social media to share a heartfelt letter with his followers and audience, updating them about his plans for the movie, stating
“After absorbing all the love and the feedback on part one…I have been focused on creating the vision for parts two and three – which I know will be bigger and more ambitious than part one!
I have decided that we are going to make the two films….. Together!
Allowing them also release close together!” He also informed the fans that he is working on a “New Film” which is very special.
He stated, “The Universe has presented me with a very special opportunity recently- a very special movie- to step into and direct.
What the movie is….more on that when the time is right”.
Brahmastra Part 2 is expected to release in December 2026, whereas Part 3 is expected to release soon after part 2 that is in December 2027.
Ayan Mukherjee has also directed hit movies like “Wake up Sid” (2009) making his directorial debut at the young age of 26,” Yeh Jawani hai Deewani” (2013) and Brahmastra part one: Shiva starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, which was released last year and was a hit on box office.
